1. Acceptance Of Privacy Policy

1.1 This Privacy Policy is effective immediately for any users who accesses, browses, crawls, scrapes, or in any way uses the Site (referred to hereinafter as “User”, “you” or “your”) registering accounts after that date and applies to Connect Recovery (along with all subsidiaries, including but not limited to its affiliates, successors and assigns thereof, including the platform (referred to hereinafter collectively as “we”, “us”, “our” and/or “Connect Recovery Platform”).  This Privacy Policy describes our policies on the collection, use, and disclosure of information about you in connection with your use of our websites, emails, and mobile applications (the “Site”). When you use the Site, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of information about you as described in this Privacy Policy.

1.2 By accepting this Privacy Policy, or by accessing or using the Site, You represent and acknowledge that You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy, and that the information You certify that the information You provide in registering to the Service is accurate, complete, and is Yours or within Your right to use. If You are entering into these Privacy Policies on behalf of a company or another legal entity, You represent that You have the authority to bind such entity and its subsidiaries and affiliates to this Privacy Policy. If You do not have such authority, or if You do not agree with this Privacy Policy, You must not accept this Privacy Policy and may not use the Site.

1.3 This Privacy Policy is further subject to the Connect Recovery Terms of Use related to the Connect Recovery services you utilize and/or purchase. You acknowledge that this Privacy Policy constitutes an agreement between You and Us, even though it is electronic and is not physically signed by You and Us, and that this Privacy Policy governs Your use of the Site and supersedes any other agreements between You and Us.

2. Description Of Service

2.1 The “Service” includes the web site and applications (“App” or “Apps”), and services provided to You through our the web site including all software, data, text, images, sounds, videos, and other content made available through the Site (collectively, “Content”). Any new features added to or augmenting the Service are also subject to these Terms.

2.1 The Services is designed to give You access to a community based platform. The features that are available include a personal profiles and customizations, web-based social interaction via instant messaging, email, chat or video conferencing, a notifications system, a messaging system, access to products and services provided by us and third parties, the ability to find rehab / recovery based meetings, the ability to find Rehabilitation and Recovery Facilities, and access to our E-Learning program.

3. Collection of Personal Information

3.1 In order to use the Site, You must register for account credentials. When you register for account credentials, we collect certain Personal Information, including your name, email address, and a password that you create. You may choose to upload your Avatar / Profile photo at your own free will to personalize your profile. In addition, You may provide Your credit card or other payment information and telephone number (for customer support purposes and product purchases). Connect Recovery or its third party payment providers use Personal Information related to your billing information solely to administer your services on the Site and to process your transactions including your purchase of Services, and upgrades. Connect Recovery and Third Party Applications might use the Site to collect, use, and retain all information, including Personal Information and Network Data, that is disclosed and uploaded by Members in connection with their use of Networks. “Network Data” means all data collected from a Network or Member and includes registration information (including the Internet protocol (IP) address used by a Member at the time of registration), profile data, answers to Network profile questions, all Content and other information contributed by Members, Location Services if enabled, and statistical information and analytics relating to usage and interactions within the Site. In addition, we will have the ability to reset Member passwords in the event that a Member loses or can’t remember it. Third Party Applications embedded within the App might also collect additional types of Personal Information.

3.2 We use the information to provide the Site’s functionality, improve the Site’s quality, personalize your experience, track usage of the Site, provide feedback to entities that are listed on the Site, display relevant advertising, provide customer support, message you, send notifications, back up our systems and allow for disaster recovery, enhance the security of the Site, and comply with legal obligations. Among the information we collect, please note: (i) Account Information: If you create an account, we may store and use your full name, email address, zip code and other information you may provide with your account, such as your gender and birth date. Your personal information will only be accessible to you and our Site administrators. (ii) Contacts: You can invite your friends to join the Site or App by providing their contact information, or by allowing us to use your address book from your computer, mobile device, or other sites. If you invite a friend to join and connect with you on the Site, we may transmit your friend’s contact information to Us long enough to process your requests; (iii) Communications: When you sign up for an account, you are opting in to receive emails from other businesses, and Connect Recovery itself. You can manage your email preferences here, but note that you cannot opt out of receiving certain administrative or legal notices from Us. If you send information from the Site to your phone via SMS text message, we may log your phone number, phone carrier, and the date and time that the message was processed. Carriers may charge recipients for texts that they receive; (iv) Transactional Information: If you make purchases through the Site, we may collect and store certain information about you to process your requests and populate forms for future transactions, such as your phone number, address, email, and credit card information. This information may be shared with third parties who help process and fulfill your requests. When You submit credit card numbers, we encrypt that information using industry standard technology. If you write posts about businesses with which you transact through the Site, we may publicly display the fact that you transacted with those businesses; (v) Site Activity: We may store information about your use of the Site, such as your search activity, the pages you view, the date and time of your visit, and the businesses you call using our mobile applications. We also may store information that your computer or mobile device provides to us in connection with your use of the Site, such as your browser type, type of computer or mobile device, browser language, IP address, mobile carrier, unique device identifier, location, and requested and referring URLs; (vi) Location Information: Some of our services will require us to know your current location, where others will depend on your home address. If we offer a service that supports location sharing, we will present you with an opt-in choice of whether you want to participate.

3.3 We may collect, use, and share precise location data, including the real-time geographic location of your mobile device. This information may reveal your actual location, such as GPS data, or it may not, such as when you submit a partial address to look at a map of the area. When you use your mobile browser or enable other data services, we collect your location information. We use that information to provide you with any Location-Based Services that you have requested. We may also use your location information to create aggregate data from which your personally identifiable information has been removed or obscured. This location data is collected anonymously in a form that does not personally identify you and is used by us to provide and improve location-based products and services. For example, we may share geographic location with other application providers when you access their location services. We may disclose your location information to third parties without your consent. You should carefully review the privacy policies of third parties with whom you have authorized the sharing of your location information, and you should understand the risks involved in disclosing your location information to friends or other people you may not know.

4. Passive Data and Cookies

4.1 Like most web-based services, we automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser or device when you use the Services. We may use a variety of methods, including clear GIFs (also known as “web beacons”), local shared objects (sometimes called “flash cookies”), and similar technology in connection with your use of the Site and third party websites (“cookies”) to collect this information. Also, please be aware that other third parties, including advertising servers, advertising networks, web analytic services (such as Google Analytics) or Third Party Applications may set cookies or use other means of passively collecting information about your use of their services on the Site. We do not have access to, or control over, these cookies or other means of passive data collection. You should consult the respective privacy policies of these third parties. We cannot control the activities of such third parties. It may be possible to disable some (but not all) Cookies through your device or browser settings, but doing so may affect your ability to use the Site. 5. Third Parties

5.1 We may allow other companies, called third party ad servers or ad networks to serve advertisements within the App or Site. These third party ad servers or ad networks may use technology to send, directly to your browser or device, the advertisements that appear on the Site and they automatically receive your IP Address and other log file information when this happens. Such third party companies may also use other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, or web beacons) to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and to personalize their advertising content. Certain third party companies may also use these cookies to serve ads to you based on your visit to these Networks and other sites on the Internet. We do not provide your Personal Information to these third party ad servers or ad networks without your consent. However, please note that if an advertiser asks us to show an advertisement to a certain audience or audience segment and you respond to that advertisement, the advertiser or ad server may conclude that you fit the description of the audience that they were trying to reach. Please note that opting out does not prevent the display of advertisements to you. Additionally, if any Google AdSense advertisements are used by Site or Creators, you may opt out of Google’s use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy located here. We reserve the right to add or remove third party ad networks and ad servers in our discretion. We may not at all times list such updated ad network or ad server partners in this Privacy Policy.

5.2 Third Party Sources: The Site may contain links to websites and services provided by third parties. Any Personal Information you provide on third party sites or services is provided directly to that third party and is subject to that third party’s policies governing privacy and security. We are not responsible for the content or privacy and security practices and policies of third party sites or services. We encourage you to learn about third parties’ privacy and security policies before providing them with Personal Information

6. Data Retention

6.1 We may retain Personal Information to operate, provide, improve, and maintain the Site, and our other services and systems; to develop new products and services; to prevent abusive and fraudulent use of the Site and our other services and systems; to send you administrative messages, and information about content and services in which we believe you may be interested; and for other administrative and internal business purposes. We may retain information about you for the purposes authorized under this Privacy Policy unless prohibited by law. For example, we may retain information to prevent, investigate, or identify possible wrongdoing in connection with the Site or to comply with legal obligations. Please note that businesses cannot remove their business listings or associated data by closing their accounts.

7. Use of Information

7.1 In providing our Service, We don’t share your information with advertisers without your consent. We allow advertisers to choose the characteristics of users who will see their advertisements and we may use any of the non-personally identifiable attributes we have collected (including information you may have decided not to show to other users, such as your birth year or other sensitive personal information or preferences) to select the appropriate audience for those advertisements. Even though we do not share your information with advertisers without your consent, when you click on or otherwise interact with an advertisement there is a possibility that the advertiser may place a cookie in your browser and note that it meets the criteria they selected. We do not sell or rent email addresses and other Personal Information. We do not share Personal Information with third parties except in the circumstances described in this Privacy Policy. Please be aware, however, that any information that you voluntarily choose to display on any publicly available portion of the Site becomes publicly available and may be collected and used by others or Us without restriction.

7.2 Service Providers: We may provide Personal Information to third parties for their use in performing internal business functions both for the Site and Web site (e.g., payment processing, maintenance, security, data analysis, email transmission, or data hosting) on our behalf.

7.3 Affiliates: We may share some or all of your Personal Information with our parent company or any subsidiaries, joint venture partners, or other companies that we control or that are under common control with us (collectively, “affiliates”), in which case we will seek to require those affiliates to honor this Privacy Policy.

8.1 We may send you administrative messages, and updates regarding your account, the Site, and our services, by email. Third parties may also send administrative or promotional messages to the extent permitted by applicable law and the Connect Recovery Terms of Service. Additionally, you can choose to opt-out of receiving messages from Connect Recovery by following the directions on the bottom of the email message you receive.

9. Change of Ownership

9.1 In In the event of a change in ownership, or a merger with, acquisition by, or sale of assets to, another entity, we reserve the right to transfer all of your Personal Information, including email addresses, to that entity. We will use reasonable efforts to notify registered users of such a transfer (by a posting on our home page or elsewhere on the Site, by push notification with a link to our posting, or by email to the User or Member’s email address that was provided to us, as chosen by us, in our discretion).

10. Security

10.1 We use industry standard security measures to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of Personal Information under our control. Although we make good faith efforts to maintain the security of such Personal Information, we cannot guarantee that it will remain free from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, or alteration. Further, while we work hard to ensure the integrity and security of our network and systems, we cannot guarantee that our security measures will prevent “hackers” or other unauthorized persons from illegally accessing or obtaining this information. We do not assume any liability to third parties whose information you include in your address book, contact list or any similar items, or which you post or transmit in any Content on a Network. To help maintain the security of your account credentials, please keep your password secure. If You submit certain sensitive data to Us, such as your payment information, we encrypt that data using SSL encryption. If we learn of a security breach, we will attempt to notify You electronically if Your account is affected so that you can take appropriate protective steps. By using the Site or providing Personal Information to Us, you agree that We can communicate with You electronically regarding security, privacy, and administrative issues relating to Your use of the Site. If a security systems breach occurs, We may post a notice on our homepage, or elsewhere on the Site and may send email to you at the email address you have provided to us.

11. Children

11.1 The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) protects the online privacy of children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from anyone under the age of 18, unless or except as permitted by law. Any person who provides Personal Information through the Site represents to us that he or she is 18 years of age or older. If we learn that Personal Information has been collected from a user under 18 years of age on or through the Site, then we will take the appropriate steps to cause this information to be deleted. If you are the parent or legal guardian of a child under 18 who has become a Member, please contact Us at info@connectrecovery.com to have that child’s account terminated and information deleted.

12. International Users

12.1 The Site is hosted in the United States, and because of the nature of Our business, only has functionality for United States Users or Members. If you use the Site from the European Union, or any other region with laws governing data collection and use that may differ from U.S. law, please note that you are transferring your personal data to the United States. The United States does not have the same data protection laws as the European Union and other regions. By providing Personal Information under this Privacy Policy, you consent to the use of Personal Information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and the transfer of your Personal Information to the United States.

13. California Privacy Rights

13.1 The Site California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits Users who are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of Personal Information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. If you are a California resident and have provided Us with Personal Information within the last year, you may make such a request by emailing us at the following email address with the email’s subject titled as “California Privacy Rights” to info@connectrecovery.com.

14. Updates to This Privacy Policy

14.1 We may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. If we do, we will update the “last updated” date at the top of the Privacy Policy. If we make an update to this Privacy Policy that is materially less restrictive in our use or disclosure of Personal Information that we collected prior to the update, we will provide you with prior notice of the pending update and seek your consent by posting notice on connectrecovery.com or by contacting you using the email address in your Profile. We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Policy to stay informed about our collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information on the Site. Your continued use of the Site constitutes your agreement to this Privacy Policy and any updates.
